The Cracker Diet
THE CRACKER DIET is a way to always have something ready to eat without resorting to sweets. You can have whatever you want to eat, as long as you have it on a cracker. Plus:
Never mix starch and protein (eat meat separately).
Drink no more than ¼ cup liquid with meals.
Keep egg salad or chicken salad always ready to eat.
The purpose of the cracker is that chewing stimulates the digestive juices, so putting foods on a cracker may provide better digestion and make you feel full more quickly.
Foods to keep on hand:
Crackers
Cream Cheese
Mayonnaise
Fresh Vegetables
Cheese
Pickles/Olives
Egg Salad, Chicken Salad or Vegetable Salad
Meat
Many people agree it's better to have small meals throughout the day than three big meals, so... Happy Munching!
